Where We Come From
Our Story
"He recognized the need for a strong brotherhood that could provide support, direction, and purpose for men of all ages."
The foundation of M.B.K. BLOC began as a vision shared by Bishop Timothy Goree. Drawing from the challenges and experiences he encountered throughout his life, Bishop Goree saw clearly what so many men were missing — not resources, but roots. Not just opportunity, but brotherhood.
He understood that men thrive when surrounded by others who hold them accountable, lift them up, and walk alongside them through every season of life.
After settling in Waycross, Georgia, Bishop Goree entrusted this vision to his sons, who officially established M.B.K. BLOC as a nonprofit organization — turning one man's vision into a movement built to last.
Today, M.B.K. BLOC continues to grow, guided by those same four principles: Brotherhood. Leadership. Optimism. Community. The vision lives on — and it's only getting started.
